This has been an exciting few weeks for Thinking Forward. Our FifteenX15 campaign has been one of the driving motivators for the organization; our stated goal is to be bringing Thinking Forward’s important character-development programming that produces anti-bullying education to 15 Toronto schools by the end of 2015. In May we launched with two new schools, bringing the total to 13. Towards the end of the month, Thinking Forward was recognized as a partner with the Toronto District School Board, receiving an official appreciation for the organization’s “contribution to the success and well-being to students, families and school communities.”

TDSB puts the spotlight on perseverance in the month of June. As I think on that and also reflect on the good news of the previous month, I’m mindful that FifteenX15 being so close to being achieved is the direct product of the perseverance of so many people who make Thinking Forward what it is. I’m grateful for all those who drive our vision and make the key decisions who have continued to pursue those important partnerships. We are all, in turn, thankful to all of our volunteers, without whose routine hard work our programming could not make the impact it does. What a great example you all set!

There are opportunities for you to be involved, and to demonstrate that characteristic, learn so much, contribute to the well-being of students and communities, and have fun in the process! Check out the “Get Involved” tab at the top of this page to see what could be a fit for you.
